Midnight Express

One of the most influential films from Giorgio Mordor’s iconic synth score which decades later was sampled by j Dilla to the entire style of the prison inspiring Chris Nolan for dark knight rises when it came to shooting the hole Bane comes from.  I saw this movie in high school and it left a very significant impact on me. I think of it often. My mom saw me watching and remembered when it came out.
