Midsommar with food. I never thought it would be beneficial to not be rich. I was praying for a specific thing to happen so that I could write “they took ‘Eat the Rich’ literally” but it didn’t happen.  What a delectable film. The tense music along with a familiar restaurant/kitchen setting with a tense course counter building up that we knew was going to raise the severity of what comes next along with the uncanny amount of symmetry in the shots and building layout and Ralph Fiennes’ amazing performance made for such a tense, thrilling film.  Anya Taylor Joy continues to show why she is so great.
