Rogue

Nobody talk to me about dogs for the next decade I wept…WEPT!  What an experience - Nolan managed to make 3 hours feel like 20 minutes? Absolutely incredible! Needless to say this was a hit for me.  Tom Holland wasn’t as bad as anticipated, his character did the job it was supposed to albeit a little clumsily but the other performances were stellar - Anne Hathaway??? HELLO?? Matt Damon?? we LOVE you!  I really enjoyed the segmented storytelling, it was engaging and flowed organically which I massively appreciated.  I did have to turn off my costume brain however - let’s turn up the saturation and design of those garments for royalty please!!!!!

was I entertained? absolutely!  was I blown away? not quite  Going into the newer evil dead films without expectations is proving successful, I DO wish the character development was more evident - we know what to expect with the series, just make it FUN and make us root for someone god damn it!

Quintessentially British in its humour! You can imagine my shock finding out (F)elon Musk’s ex-wife stars in this

we dabble in a little bit of whimsy!
