The Matrix

Not sure why I gave it almost a four n' a half prior to watching this? Probably because I watched it on a flight home and might've been in and out of it? or something like that. HOWEVER I GOT A LOT TO SAY, GOOD THINGS, GREAT THINGS! My perspective: Not a top 5 OVERALL but it's still a REALLY GREAT film. Some would say, a killer joint! Too kino i'm afraid... I really think, watching a high quality version of the matrix, really made me admire how EXTREMELY well it was shot! Especially with the CGI of the late 90's into the early 2000's and the blend of film. Sure if I squinted really hard I could see the illusion yet still felt almost "realistic" in today's time. Definitely THE best sci-fi action film of all time, so far. I think my main take away from watching this, that I feel certain about: Obviously capitalism is bad, society is suppressed to the point where we're being used as energy consumption. (tbf it's pretty much nail in the coffin, sadly, as to how life is right now) And there's no "realism" or "freedom of expression" when it comes to the rest of the mainstream world/society. Yet, if you silence all aspects except believing in yourself, you're more than likely to achieve anything. Which I don't doubt, especially I do think the proper direction/advice can get you either far or near to your goals. side note: I tried really hard to put my head inside the "trans ideology" and the only bit that kinda clicked was the final fight between neo and agent smith. I don't think i'm the chosen one to had figured it out prior to that scene but at last, I still enjoyed it. Definitely a top 15 in my list. though I think a huge watch party would be really nice rather than "a couple boys want to watch the matrix" even though there's really nice action shots. idk man, I'm picky with movies. ts beautiful and epic sauce.
