wow i wish i could watch this for the first time again. that opening scene might be the most legendary and cinematic scenes in movie history. every line of dialogue by christoph waltz feels like it’s carrying the weight of a bullet. he’s so magnetic and terrifying all at the same time. tarantino wasn’t exaggerating when he called this his ultimate “masterpiece”. it’s pure cinema, bold, and probably the most satisfying alternate-history and revenge fantasy ever put to film. fuck hitler, goebbels, göring, and bormann!
