Fruitvale Station

bawling my eyes out and i just completely broke down seeing the footage of his daughter at the end. truly heartbreaking, and made even more so by the fact that we got to know oscar and spend the day with him. makes you think about all the people like oscar who haven’t had movies made about their life and whose stories have gone forgotten or unheard. and as many have said, it’s profoundly sad and horrifying that this 2013 movie could’ve been made yesterday and still be incredibly relevant within our society. home run from coogler per usual, nice to see it’s been that since his debut.  i cannot lie, i had to pause when i saw chad michael murray. it took me out of it for a second seeing him as the cop, but then i thought wow how genius it was to cast the king of the CW and teen heartthrob CMM as that character.
