Kill Bill: Vol. 1

This movie had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Like actually glued to the screen. Everything about it was so damn good, the way it was filmed, the way the story was told, all of it deserves five stars on its own. The switches to black and white, the flashbacks, THE ANIME SEQUENCE?? Absolute genius. It felt like I was watching five different genres at once and somehow it all worked. And honestly… The Bride had every right to take her revenge. Waking up from a four-year coma and realizing what they took from her? Yeah, no. I’d be mad too. Now excuse me while I go order myself some Onitsuka Tigers.
