Longlegs

Day 11 of watching a film from my watchlist: Longlegs was flawless for about 3/4 of the movie in my opinion. It has a perfect mood and has some really great cinematography and acting. Nicolas Cage was great as Longlegs (he has never given a bad performance), and Maika Monroe was perfectly casted as Lee Harker. The last 20-25 minutes of the film is where it really goes downhill unfortunately. It gets really expositional and if you cut out the mom’s entire speech then the movie could be a five stars. One last thing I would like to say is that this movie really had me yelling at my tv in the final scene when Lee WOULDN'T JUST SHOOT THE DAD AND INSTEAD JUST WATCHED HIM KILL THE WIFE, COME ON LEE!!!
