Dune: Part Two

top three movies for me now. austin was terrifying, javier was perfect (and funny ash), rebecca was so calculating, lea stole the little screen time she had (and this was the first time her french accent was undetectable to me which was so impressive), zendaya broke my heart, and timothee was outstanding for me. he was so commanding, powerful, and convincing and did a great job at portraying how conflicted paul was (also his acting in the leaders meeting, during the final scene, and when he rides the sandworm for the first time was next level). the story was gripping and exciting, the visuals were unreal, zendaya and timothee’s chemistry was sooo moving and again very convincing, the fight choreography was some of the best i’ve ever seen, the score and sound design was just as beautiful, intense, and evocative as dune pt 1, the scale was lotr and star wars level, the costuming was stunning and immersive, and i wish it was even longer. cannot stress how much i loved this and i will be impatiently waiting for dune: messiah.
