I never wanted anything but you. I don’t have enough time to watch all the movies I want

This movie was quite something to watch god But a total plus for the nine inch nails song.. - Closer (Further Away), The Art of Self Destruction, Part One, Closer to God ) also songs in this are just great thank you Gil is a delusional, crazy stalker (not that im complaining to see Robert De Niro play him) but bro genuinely thought that just because he was a good player when he was a kid that means he’s actually someone and no, a number on a shirt does not determine someone’s skills … And about the murder scene I found it cool when the screen turned red amazing use ALSO THAT MF CARED MORE ABOUT BASEBALL THAN HIS OWN KID imagine if they’d put Closer by Nine Inch Nails 🤤

I really want to give it a 4 stars because this film is really great ( so maybe i’ll change the rating who knows ) but there is no way he called her brother a slur and she still went out with him, well yeah her brother told the real course of events but that doesnt mean what C said should be forgotten like omg what But except that, i did really enjoy this movie. Sonny saved his life, but he couldn’t save his. In a way, the two educations Sonny was talking about, was him and C’s father, two important men in his life which led completly diffrent lives, took diffrent paths. Sonny is that „cool guy” teenage boys would look up to, but he simply tells them what they’d like to hear. The working man is not a sucker Also my brain might be rotting because i laughed when he said 6***67***

> *Loneliness has followed me my whole life. Everywhere. In bars, in cars, sidewalks, stores, everywhere. There's no escape. I'm God's lonely man... June 8th. My life has taken another turn again. The days can go on with regularity over and over, one day indistinguishable from the next. A long continuous chain. Then suddenly, there is a change.* Its ok Travis I also talk to myself while imagining a shooting scenario You talking to me??? Well Im the only one here But honestly him saying that hes not a pusher was one of the most dumbest things he said, it’s like he’s completly not self-aware. Literally all he does is push. He pushed Betsy, constantly trying to reach her, even showing up at her workplace, he pushed the secret service dude, he pushed Iris. Im not saying that pushing is always wrong, but its like he has no sense of who he is. Even if from one angle it’s good that he reacted to what horrible situation she was in, he is clearly a pusher, he saw her once and decided she’s his ticket to „do something”. He talked how he saw that Betsy and her coworker had no connection, that he didnt respect her, like he knew, but in reality he has also no sense of the people around him. He thinks of something and already thinks its a fact, when in reality he was the one without any connection and respect for Betsy. At the start she was like an angel to him, but at the first disagreement, she suddenly became like everyone, just because it didnt go the way he wanted > *I realize now how much she's just like the others, cold and distant, and many people are like that, women for sure, they're like a union.* His character development or something like that is a questionable thing to me, at first around politics at least he didn’t cared about it, he didnt cared about what was around him, he only cared to impress Betsy, but later on he listened, after all he wanted to do **something*** *and not really be in a repetative cycle that lead nowhere and only filled his days, they just went on and on without any goal. So he wanted to save Iris, he did, she could lead the life a young girl should, yet at the end it seemed like he was the same man. Having Betsy in his taxi, it was like he took tha moment to just get back at her, nothing else really, nothing really important, so it seemed he was at the start again. > *Now I see this clearly. My whole life is pointed in one direction. There never has been a choice for me.* *but hey at the end of the day it’s just my opinion :-)*

> *You know what the best high of all is?* > *What is it?* > *Death.* Such a tragic and heartbreaking but beautiful movie. Watching it again just makes everything hit deeper, the dialogues, the reasoning behind their actions, it helps me understand this movie better, even if it makes me really sad, again I’m fascinated by this movie and I pity the fact i dont know/there isn’t a lot films like this one. Obviously it’s not perfect, but it hits where it’s supposed to. It starts in a really sweet way, but the stronger addiction gets, the more toxic and helpless the reltionship gets. It’s like a constant cycle of making up, getting high together and then arguing once it wears off. At least in my opinion i think they did have real feelings for eachother despite their behavior and I like to believe that when Bobby got out of jail and Helen was waiting for him, they started over, did it again but clean this time, both. Maybe they moved to the country side :)
