Feel a strong need to remind everyone that this film was made in 2009. If i wasn’t 6 years old when this came out in theaters there is no doubt in my mind it would be a top 3 theater experience for me. What an epic movie. Greatest science fiction movie of its time.
Spoiler alert: The world building of pandora is so beautiful, the music fits so well, the visual effects are insanely good, along with the way it pulls at your emotions. From start to finish this movie had me engaged and at times gave me full body chills. I don’t think i will ever forget certain scenes, the burning Direhorse running after the attack on the Home Tree, shutting down graces lab mid negotiations with the Na’vi, Jake becoming Toruk Makto, Eywa helping during the battle, and “I see you”.
Damn near 3 hours long and i still didn’t want it to end. This movie is just an all-timer. Did crazy things for the film industry and resonated with so many people and I fully see why. 10/10 and will probably find myself rewatching a ton throughout my life. So hyped to continue my avatar journey and see the new one in theaters later this week.
