Dreams

Martin Scorsese playing Vincent Van Gogh in an Akira Kurosawa film? I must be in heaven. This film might not have a clear storyline, and not every story made complete sense to me. But come on, the film is called "Dreams". Visually, "Dreams" might be one of the most beautiful Akira Kurosawa films ever made. Even though I haven’t watched all of his films yet, it's hard to imagine one being more beautiful than this. Every frame feels like a painting brought to life. This might be the peak of cinematic art. If you like art with all of your heart, this film is perfect for you.
