Ikiru

My biggest gripe is that sad/distressed/alarmed? (i dont even know) face that they do, and I'm pretty sure they do the same face in seven samurai and idk it just takes me out of the film cus it looks so exaggerated, like the director told them "make a worried face" and this was their first attempt at it.  Anyways, I actually really like this film. I wasn't into it in the first half but at the start of the second half there's this narrative change and I was so hooked. I was very emotional from that point till the end, it hit all the right buttons for me. I don't want to say too much but it reaffirmed to me how important death is in life. The fact that things end is what makes them so powerful and that ending shot is so damn powerful.
