Get Out
Straddled between fight and flight mode while watching this movie; somehow I ended up freezing during the entire thing, not moving a muscle during any moment in this film.
Left the film feeling perturbed, relieved, and traumatized all at once. A film equivalent to the split-second feeling of chills running down your spine, forcing you into this sinking feeling of “something’s amiss” during the entire runtime.
And yet, it’s catharsis at its finest.
