some really good and genuinely enjoyable moments, in amongst some really shitty writing and performances look, i’m not opposed to the whole ‘evil organisation secretly controls entire world’ thing they got going on, but opening the movie with this guy saying ‘approve the ceasefire’ followed with a breaking news screen saying ‘ceasefire approved’ felt so juvenile and silly samara weaving put on the performance of her life, while most other actors just about showed up to work the scene where they locked that guy in a washer was hilarious and and one of the few times when katherine newton matched samara’s performance, rather than being drastically outshined by her

damn i’m crying

a surprisingly good movie, and genuinely funny? i can’t believe i didn’t realise that literally half of the mario characters are just turtles in different sizes, bowser is a turtle!! hyped for super mario bros galaxy (fell asleep the first time i watched this, this was  my first proper watch as I didn’t remember anything from first watch)

i wish i believed in his motivations just a tad bit more, an enjoyable movie nonetheless but he’s kind of a dick
