guys look this movie pleased me asf!!! okay i literally went to watch it TO THE CINEMAS 8-9times, depressing, i agree, but at the same time AMAZING.
okay so there’s literally lots of things i liked and so little on the other side of the spectrum so let’s (please) start out w the good ones:)
1. first of all i LOVE how they didn’t use a name for The protagonist, i mean yeah you might think it’s essential for the main character to have a name, but it just works in this movie
2. the soundtrack, as i’ve mentioned i’m a sucker for a good a soundtrack, it just makes the whole movie experience better or even enhances it (not in this case tbh the soundtrack was AMAZING but it didn’t enhance the movie, it complemented it!) the whole soundtrack was and is ground breaking, i still have it saved n downloaded in my spotify…yeah it was good it was amazing, phenomenal…!!!!!!! yeah i might argue on some songs that they sound almost the exact same but idc…i don’t care, they’re still good…okay while we’re still one the music category…THE PLAN- yesss shit my god that WHOLE scene where they switched trucks/took the plutonium…ORGASM ORGASM I REPEAT ORGASM!!!!! i literally brought my friends and forced them to watch the movie solely for this scene…jk???? Idk it’s just woah the song the beats and while ur in the cinema the beats like ACTUALLY HIT y’a so yk:] amazing
2. time travelling, now i was so obsessed i made a whole A4 poster on the time travelling aspect…yeah embarrassing but amazing. I’m one of the many people who love and enjoy time travelling movies, and this one is no exception, it’s pretty easy to crack down how everything works after watching it a couple of times! but mostly you can understand it when Sator beats Kat up be4 jumping into the turner shit!!!
it’s pretty easy, there’s numerous articles, videos ect. that were made to explain it, so if you don’t understand don’t be shy to look up an explanation video!!! either way the whole time travelling was really good idk y but it felt really modern and that it could be possible!
3. story line, now the whole story line was amazing yet nothing to complicated. Save the world basically and then a few elements of time travelling and gayness (neil x the protagonist shippers raise to life now!) which was enough and entertaining, usually it kept me on the edge of my seat but when it didn’t, i could enjoy the soundtrack or/and listen and observe two gays communicating!!! AMAZING!
and there’s soooo much more but i’d start repeating the same shit again and again, it truly is an amazing film which has all the concepts I’m looking for!
now the negatives!!
1. the stereotyping…yeah Andrei might’ve been born in a post soviet city (and looks depressingly like my dad!) we don’t need to stereotype him or russians/unkrainians…like cmon…they don’t all mentally and physically abuse their wife's and drink alcohol like there is no fucking tomorrow…??? idk this just might’ve been really wrongly seen by me and i do apologise but uhh idfk this is my review dudes:)
either way this gets a 9.5 in my books!! it’s not easy to understand when ur watching it for the first time but i don’t think it’s that big of a deal because usually time travelling movies aren’t meant to be understood the first time!:)
