Insane, horny, and psychosexual movie. I genuinely could not have predicted some of the turns this film takes, and I’m happy it did. A very visually appealing movie, with its color choices and shots. Gael Garcia Bernal is so sexy ouuurghh ANNND he plays a pathetic husband like, what else need I say… Edit: After sitting on this for a day, I would’ve liked to have seen more interaction between Polo and ema/gaston, they literally paint up this kid to be the devil incarnate, but it’s kinda/sorta waived off as a kid acting out due to neglect from these two dysfunctional parents. Which, yeah sure, they’re here now, but I truuuuuly don’t think he ends as perfectly bow-wrapped as it did, like there needs to be growing pains, which I guess we can imagine went on once the credits rolled, but I digress.
