On the other hand, I really didn't expect much and it was kind of nostalgic to watch. I'm so happy we got comphet lesbian Imogen but also why didn't we get more of Tara and Darcy?? Nick and Charlie move I want to see the lesbians😔 also I'm in love with Elle's every look as always but what was that chanting😭😭

sue me, I watched this before the first one because my dad wanted to watch this Anyways I had no expectations. There was just too much going on and I was confused as hell. I should've probably watched the original first for some context so that's on me. How tf do you even miss a ship that is 11,640 km wide? Is there no other way to communicate with the aliens than locking ourselves up in a chamber and being choked by the said alien? Sorry guys I'm new here I don't know😔😔 Then there were Joey King driving without a license with McKenna Grace in the backseat (she really was the default child actor omg). Aaand this movie also has a (kinda subtle) gay couple in it!! Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if some people miss it because relationships obviously aren't the main focus here and they weren't given much screen time (well one of them was in a coma in the beginning).

The way the scholar stone is used as a metaphor throughout this movie is so clever oh my god
