Such a cute charming little movie but it was pretty dated lol, I think I would have liked it more if I had grown up with it. This had the most rom com soundtrack of all rom coms. By the way justice for meredith because she was so valid for not liking them and for hating camping. Perfect airplane movie

*This review may contain spoilers.* Spent my whole life thinking my mom invented the stupid is stupid does saying 😭 Anyway, I dont get why people are saying this was american propaganda at all when it showed everyone got hurt by the military complex, how they tried to silence people who they assumed would speak against it and how the only person that managed to be above it was through pure luck and compliancy... I thought it was very clever with how intertwined history too plus I loved forrest heart 🥺 I just wish we had gotten more on the women in the story outside of the men. I would have loved more on Jenny in particular, I dont think she actually loved Forrest tbh not romantically but definetly loved him platoncially but thats just me lol. Pretty interesting watch considering my parents have always been obsessed with it

I wanted to like this movie soooo bad :(( I love supergirl, shes one of my faves, I'm literally dressing up as her for a convention soon lol. But unfortunately this movie didnt really do it for me :[ It looked so ugly first of all and it was so cliché for a story that tends to be interesting to me. I hated that they went on the revenge route again, that feels like the only thing superhero movies do atp 😭 I liked the allegory of human trafficking ig but it was done so half assed... I feel like black widow did it better. Also didn't care for the little girl at all even though I tend to be a sucker for found family. Not to be harsh but I think this movie was missing heart and creativity, which is why superman hit so hard with people more than anything else (plus it actually looked good lol) I loved milly though and I loved how they showed the difference between her and clark, I still loved the essence of her character so I do think she has potential (btw now that milly confirmed shes bi they need to add lena pls and thank you)
