This was even better and more enjoyable in 4k.

I had left this and *The Dark Knight Rises* out from Chris Nolan’s filmography for the reason that I might not like them and that they might diminish *The Dark Knight*’s quality — which I absolutely loved — in my eyes. But I decided why not? Lemme at least finish Nolan’s filmography. And… I enjoyed this more than I expected I would. The movie does a great job in introducing the origin of Christian Bale/Chris Nolan’s *The Dark Knight *trilogy Batman (I really enjoyed the first half of the movie). But the second half moves a bit too fast and chaotic, which might’ve benefitted greatly from a few more minutes of plot imo. Nevertheless, Liam Neeson as a villain is good and having Ra’s al Ghul serving as the first villain of Batman is certainly a choice. It works though. I liked it overall.

Book better. It’s a nice adaptation, but it kinda felt flat. The stakes aren’t very well realized and overall emotionally flat. They massacred my boy Rocky with that voice. The cinematography is meh, has 3,4 scenes that look really good. Greig Fraser’s weakest work. Ryan Gosling gives a great performance tho. I love that dude.

Damn, that ending…
