Sing Sing

masterpiece. i rarely hand out 5 stars. colman domingo was something else. a performance that should be studied at film schools. visually impeccable. acting was another level, even more so when i found out most actors were the actual people from prison that played themselves. throughout the whole movie, theres this calmness that the characters and the writing transmit to you, its beautiful. i was unfamiliar with greg kwedar, recently found out he worked in Train Dreams. he did an insane job as director here. just perfect. one of those movies that'd move you even after a rewatch.
