Somehow manages to be a disturbing and gripping thriller keeping you on your toes while simultaneously deconstructing how this cycle of violence continues through the rigid and dehumanizing prison system. Walks that line of uncompromising thrills from the dreadful atmosphere but also reveals a slither of tragic reality in all of them raised by the violence of a toxic male culture and institution that neglects mental well being. Such a confident vision and technical team around him as well for a debut. Cal has a strong ceiling of potential. Full review here
