Adolescence

a clear depiction of real life events that happen far too often, frequently motivated by the same things. im so glad adolescence has become so mainstream and popular. hopefully it brings awareness to people and parents, so they can reflect on the sad and harsh reality of young impressionable children on social media and the tremendous impacts it has. it doesn’t even have to be to such an extreme, but just the mind set and thought process of the ones consuming that type of content, which is heavily showcased in episode 3 with jamie’s therapist.  owen cooper gave one of the best performances i’ve ever seen, and he’s never acted in anything before. his talent is truly phenomenal. as well as the fact that it’s all shot in one take really blows my mind. it does an excellent job at making you feel uncomfortable and claustrophobic. this series highly exceeded my expectations.
