One of the best looking films of all time. The first half is absolute perfection imo (besides Ryan O'Neal's shite Irish accent). I found the pacing in the second half to be a bit off. That is literally the only reason I do not give this five stars
Its just fucking peak. Half a star removed for Dave's very loud and annoying breathing.
Kubrick should have done comedy more often, because this is great. Peter Sellers' three performances are amazing and his comedic timing was great. Very witty. It has one of my favourite movie endings of all time as well.
A very intense watch. Jack Nicholson gives one of my favourite acting performances of all time in this. Shelley Duvall was also great (fuck you Stephen King) and Danny Lloyd was too, despite being a child. The set design is immaculate.
Nicole Kidman's boobies - need I say more? Maybe I do. The tone of this is my favourite element, with it being very unsettling throughout, especially in the cult ritual scene. One of the highlights of Tom Cruise's career.
I kinda forget the second half of this film, but the first half is enough to warrant this score. I actually went back and rewatched the first half before I watched the second half, it was that good.
Kinda underwhelming. I found the first act to be great, showing the dystopian society in a really interesting way. The rest of the film was good, but not as great as the beginning. A great performance from Malcolm McDowell
A really strong anti-war film. Its just not as strong as what was to come later on in his career.
