Unironically this movie taught me how to cut a pineapple

There’s definitely an argument to be made that this film wouldn’t be NEARLY as acclaimed had it been live action instead of completely hand painted, and sure, as a movie itself, it’s prolly a 4 star, 8/10 solid movie. As long as it is hand painted though, it’s a phenomenal accomplishment. It’s not perfect but it’s a very respectful, introspective look at Vincent’s impact on the people around him and an interesting musing on mental health and suicide.  Not perfect, but an artistic feat and incredibly solid film when ignoring the art gimmick

Reevaluation  I don’t think it’s a bad movie I just think it’s a bad musical Watch The Young Girls of Rochefort if you want this movie but good
