i was watching it with my family at first, then i ended up being the only one on the couch watching the movie.. THATS OKAY!! I WON!!

i love vincent so so so much. his art means so much to me when i was little and his story always makes me sad, this movie put so much love and dedication to the art of vincent. 100 different artist working on this to replicate a similar touch of vincent to honor his work, his paintings that no one wanted or understood his deep emotions that were displayed in each brush stroke. i cried at least three times for vincent, i feel maternal and emotional when it comes to vincent. it breaks me heart knowing that his art didn’t become recognizable until after his death. it takes death to recognize someone’s soul in the work they put themselves in.. my love for him grows stronger each time i learn something new about him and his art, i am grateful and impressed of this beautiful masterpiece being made and dedicated to vincent, and the song for the credits!? i cried like a baby after that.

it’s been a while since i watched this movie. last time i did it was for my french class in high school, senior year, now watching it after that long, i always cry at the end. i am reminded why i love this movie so much. i’ll come back to it after several years later just so i can cry again
