Frances Ha

i can’t even begin to articulate how much this movie resonated with me. the dialogue was 10/10, effortless and fuck if gretas performance didn’t make me cringe with its familiarity. the dinner scene in particular had me watching through two fingers. i love love love watching frances figure out what she wants out of life instead of just settling for whatever falls into her lap. meanwhile, the story of female friendship and how those friendships can be as intense if not more than romantic ones was incredible.
