Other than everything Nolan got wrong (things like Nolan making Odysseus likable, a lot of the scenes surrounding the cyclops, and completely removing the 12 hanging maids as well as other important parts) and the slight assassination of all the female characters (especially Athena and Circe) it was pretty good. While I don’t enjoy all the choices that were made, it was still very good for a remake of such an iconic epic poem that is so complex and did a good job making a story that in its original form requires a good amount of prior knowledge of Greek mythology more attainable for the average audience. I feel like I should add that I appreciate Nolan changing Circe’s story from how it was in the original, but I feel like the way it was changed was not ideal with things like erasing Athena’s involvement if that makes sense.

Let pirate Steve be himself ☹️

I think therapy could do a lot for every single character in this movie
