oh my god, i don’t think a movie has made my jaw genuinely drop in a while. this was phenomenal all across the board, the dialogue and the ACTING!! “this is what grown ups do” and Joe (Charles Melton) completely breaking down about what’s happened to him is an insane sequence.  his movements and dialogue is so child like, he moves around with uncertainty and he completely conveys a 12 year old while being a grown 34 year old. Gracie on the other hand speaking with a delicate yet forceful tone was eerie, and stating that Joe was the one who seduced her (joe at 12 years old seducing a 24 year old women..). this movie deserves oscar noms, but charles melton specifically.
