WOW! My jaw dropped at this movie; I was completely locked in for most of the scenes and absolutely loved so many of the shots—the lighting, the colors, and the music all came together in a fantastic dance. I love that there was so much symbolism, and—on top of that—they didn't rely on vampire gossip but used authentic lore instead. I loved what graced my eyes for those two-plus hours—oh yeah, absolutely.

A lovely rom-com with an interesting story—one I hadn't seen before but really enjoyed. I absolutely loved the slow-burn dynamic around the middle of the movie and all the yearning; it was so great—honestly, I just loved it! The way he spoke about her was so beautiful—finding someone like that would be perfect. I find it so funny that they put the song Daddy's Home like it's hilarious, but what I didn't like were the lowkey choices in the music which seemed too mainstream and sometimes didn't really fit the vibe. I’d definitely recommend it. 🫰

It seems to me that this movie is very similar to *Scary Movie*—which is pretty obvious. I did get some laughs, though there were also some over-the-top jokes about ED, men, teenagers, and—unfortunately—female inferiority; still, it’s somewhat understandable why those jokes were made, given that it was 2001—a time when people said those kinds of things because they were so normalized.

It was a funny movie that made me laugh at times, but what I didn't really like was that the whole film was full of jokes and references regarding eating disorders, as well as a lot of stereotypes; still, that doesn't surprise me, since it's a 2009 movie and those things were very normalized back then. I really like the way the dark-haired guy looks.
