why have i been sleeping on fassbinder for so long. i’ve never been so consciously impressed with a director’s camera work and mise en scene, i was in awe for parts of this movie. also i think it would’ve driven me insane if i’d watched it a few years ago, it captures a specific type of lesbian heartbreak really well lol
