Sinners

Fucking incredible. The kind of movie that makes you want to watch more movies. Really makes you fall in love with cinema twice as hard as you did before. Everything from set to plot to character to the MUSIC was absolutely immaculate. Had me emotionally connected to every character in every damn scene. Don’t even get me STARTED on that dance scene. The whole film was perfect but THE VILLIAN WAS THE CHERRY ON TOP. I’ve not seen enough people talk about him. when the vampires recited the our father and he mentioned the colonisation of Ireland I wanted to screammm.“Long ago, the men who stole my father's land forced these words upon us. I hated those men, but the words still bring me comfort” YESSSSS. Nothing could prepare me for hearing THE ROCKY ROAD TO DUBLIN in a movie like this. The representation of everyone was flawless. The Asian people speaking in a southern accent because THEY’RE SOUTHERN TOO was so overlooked, other films could never. No notes TEARS!!! EVERY FUCKING PIECE WAS PERFECT!!! THIS IS THE KINDA MOVIE THAT WE NEED MORE OF!!!
