X2

wow, in a world filled with superhero movies there are, in my opinion a few staples, this being one of them, it is ironic though because i was never into the X-Men movies growing up & pretty much avoided watching all of them (except logan) but this movie made me regret that, a film filled with a thrilling story & multiple characters you want to root for, this movie passes the superhero movie test with flying colors. Hugh Jackman damn near carried X-men (2000) on his back & he came back with another stellar performance this man is wolverine the same way Tobey is Spider-man & RDJ is Tony Stark, the supporting cast was filled with great performances from Night Crawler, Storm & Jean Grey & even though the villain was a little weak from a written perspective the actions he is willing to commit and sets in action really make you feel for the hero’s in this movie. 8/10 4/5
