Oh don't mind me, I'm just over here sobbing through the entire movie. First rewatch of this after seeing it in theaters, and I think it might be one of my favorite movies of all time. As the father to a 4-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, the tragedy of Louise and her daughter really resonates with me. The movie itself is gorgeous and the sound design is really top-notch. The story is absolutely heart-wrenching. Watching it now, I can see flaws in the plot and I think some aspects are under-developed, but when you connect with a movie so deeply, that can be easily discarded. Denis doesn't miss!
