Jumanji
Rewatching the original Jumanji always feels like coming home. It’s the version I grew up with, so it resonates the most with me. The mix of adventure, danger, and heart really stands out — especially that unforgettable lion in the attic scene, which stuck in my mind as a kid. Robin Williams brings such depth to Alan Parrish, balancing humor with the weight of lost time, and that emotional core still makes the movie powerful today. The effects may look dated now, but the story and atmosphere hold up. For me, this will always be the definitive Jumanji.
