“We cannot aspire to any kind of justice while the greatest slavery still exist. It forces you to renounce love, tenderness, friendship and waste your lives on the sexual voracity of strangers”Happy 19 July btw 🏴🚩

“I can’t exist by myself because I’m afraid of myself, because I’m the maker of my own evil” another night in girl world I guess.

“I don’t like myself very much, so I try not to observe myself too often. I made a documentary once entitled Talking Heads. I asked people two questions: ‘who are you’ and ‘what do you want’. Afterwards I asked myself those questions. I realized that I didn’t have any answers. I don’t know who I am and I don’t know what l want. If anything I’d like some peace and quiet. But I have never achieved it and I probably never will. So I will never have what I really want” Kieslowski’s words in that interview honestly made me realize something. I noticed that I don’t love myself much either so I don’t really observe myself. I don’t know if this is what makes a good director but Kieslowski is one of the few people who really make me face myself. Instead of peeling away the parts of the wound he don’t like he makes the viewer face it just as it is. I really think Kieslowski is a genius. Every film of his hits me like a slap in the face

“İstiyorum ki beni seven bütün insanlar etrafımda olsun bir duvar gibi” yabancılaşmayı ve yalnızlığı öyle iyi işliyor ki. Filmin renk paletine ve monica vitti’nin güzelliğine hayran kaldım ayrıca
