Poor Things

I had a debate with one of my coworkers recently about whether something can be weird and boring. I was adamant that something that is weird cannot be boring because the two adjectives directly oppose each other. However after watching Poor Things I realized how wrong I was. Maybe it was because I went into the film not really wanting to watch it, but I was SO BORED the entire watch. I couldn’t even finish it (i still have 18 mins left). Great cinematography and wardrobe but story wise a little odd. Kind of feels like justified grooming. I was more curious about the history of the world that the film is set in than the actual story itself.
