Every young athlete struggling, winning or losing confidence in the sport should watch this. I mean it’s the greatest representation of talent, hardwork gone into nothing, abandon, redemption, life meaning on earth and the values of adolescence. It gave so much attention to essential struggles in young athletes that the show was litteraly perfect for exploring so much themes like the search of yourself, the meaning of love, the joy life gives us and that we can almost forget by quitting it all metaphorically and litteraly. Such *human and interesting animation* that crystallised every single detail of the human being, his efforts, his ability to question himself so well, his essential melancholy to the obstacles that life gives him and questioning the meaning of it all. Also great voices, absolutely memorable actors that give their all in giving meaning to animation, especially Kenjiro Tsuda for having an incredible streak for doubling each time the most interesting character in each show. Obviously the soundtrack. The whole soundtrack was matching perfectly with the dynamics of the film, the lows but also and especially the highs. Who else could have done it better than kensuke ushio. Really, listening to the soundtrack of a film after I watch it means a lot for the consideration I give to it. Finally, besides the great analysis that can be done, all the gut wrenching emotions I felt during all of it was so overwhelming. Like right now I’m overwhelmed*. *These emotions are engraved in me now and it will keep reminding of how a young man or woman should keep the head up when it comes to pursuing, finding or abandoning a dream. Cried to this. Instant top 4.
