Erik Olsson

Subtly one of the coolest movies out there.

Similar to *Time Bandits *of just being a wonderfully bonkers and inventive Gilliam fantasy/adventure film, but just brimming with so much more heart. The central relationship and dynamic between Neville and Polley is just so lovely, it's so easy to get swept up in the child-like fantasy.

Incredibly cute and just lovely to look at. Those cats were a choice though.

Definitely more invested in the mother-daughter part of the story than the love story which can be a little dull, but Crawford really carries this whole thing in truly shining fashion.
