Due Date

Absolutely hilarious, such a perfect casting for this story, an arrogant, straightforward no bullshit Robert Downey Jr and the idiotic and chaotic Zach Galifianakis. Downey’s line delivery had me cracking up the entire time as he has to deal with the absolute mess that is Ethan. Peter’s character arch was really wholesome to watch as well, going from abandoning Ethan to from what i gathered, essentially making him his daughter’s godfather. I wasn’t 100% on board with the twist that Ethan had the wallet the entire time because I feel like the movie ran out of time for him to face consequences for that, if they had it in earlier it may of worked? Idk wasn’t a fan of that. Only knock I have on this movie is that there’s no way in hell they survive the crash off the bridge as well as not getting arrested after breaking out of detainment and crashing two cop cars. Also how the dog served no purpose but to be a punchline in 2 jokes in the movie (and why was it allowed in the hospital)
