I was originally gonna make a joke about William Shakespeare, the sandman and Hob Gadling but I've just spent almost 3 hours fighting back tears like someone tied 10 layers of barb wire around my throat so instead I'm gonna say that oh my fucking god the acting was phenomenal and that ending scene killed me. I could say so much but then I fear I wpuld genuinely be writing an actual essay instead of a letterboxd review. This movie is so good but oh the sorrow 😭 movie of anguish and despair ESPECIALLY the scene of hamnet dying and the ending I mean OH MY AYHAHZJSEUSJS
