Ip Man

Man this movie blew me away. I don’t know whether to give it 4.5 or 5 stars but I’m thinking it’ll be 5 for me. The story is so emotional and powerful and moving. The acting is great and I love all of the characters in this film.  The fight scenes alone are so amazing and make this my favorite martial arts film by a landslide. The constant fighting is so satisfying and there is never a boring moment. There is the perfect amount of action and story to keep you invested.  I love the underlying message about family and standing up for what you believe in. It’s so powerful and the movie does such a great job of making you hate the antagonist and rooting for our hero. The more I think about it the more I love it and I cannot wait to watch the sequels!
