Fallen Angels

insane midnight watch The mood that the cinematography is able to achieve is amazing. The color grading bathes the scenes in a yellowish greenish hue which pushes the nostalgic and emotion heavy vibes of the film to a new level. Some of the shots were insane. Obviously the tunnel motorbike shots, but the close-up wide angle lens shots of faces and surroundings were crazy. They gave the film a surreal, dreamy, distorted feel, which enhances some of the main ideas of the film (ironically the dangers of creating false realities lol) I love that there is an interesting aspect to every character in the film. Yes, there is not really a plot in Fallen Angels, but the film manages to make taking a dive into the emotions and lives of the characters really interesting. Also how does eating expired food turn you non-verbal for life 😭
