About Time
I’m going to write this review like it’s an old diary I found with no order or correlating ideas. The main reason for me doing that is because I have so many thoughts upon this movie and one idea would drag to the rest. Anyway, this movie was so great, it had a little bit of everything comedy, romance, suspense, and drama. It even had me tearing up at times. In my mind it is difficult to make a compelling story especially when your main character can time travel but the story and main theme of this movie was go wonderfully drawn out. You see time travel in action so many different ways from Endgame to Back to the Future but I don’t think I’ve seen time travel in this manor ever before. The scriptwriters didn’t over do the use of it nor explain it much and that is what I love about it. To Tim it is just a simple part of his life and I love the way that shapes the impact of his relationships and the way the story progresses. Speaking upon the relationships, I have a possible hot take. There were three major relationships within this movie, Tim and Kit Kat, Tim and his dad and of course Tim and Mary. Here’s where the hot take comes in, I think that Tim and his dad had the best relationship. By sharing the ability to time travel it allows them to build upon their already strong bond and make it so much better. When k said I teared up earlier I lied, during that scene where they were running on the beach I was in tears, it was so emotional and powerful. Anyway there is so much more I can talk about this movie but I can talk about that another time. I love unorthodox love stories and in my heart this is the best one.
