The Beatles: Get Back

The most intimate and candid portrait of any band we will possibly ever see; and it happens to be The Beatles. As with any Peter Jackson project, it’s a slog to get through, however after it was over I found myself wishing it hadn’t ended. This movie gives you the chance to hang with an ultra famous band as they compose songs, and often just good around. Rarely do you get to see someone’s writing process like this. A lot has been written about how the Beatles wrote songs but to see it is at times miraculous. It reminds you the writing process was organic, and that they were just kids making music who happen to hit it big. We are simply incredibly lucky to witness this.
