Poor Things
As someone who sees film as a form of art rather than just a means of entertainment I really appreciate this. The set designs, cinematography the visuals in the Poor Things are just so mesmerising, I was shocked to see the budget for this film was only $35 million as it feels so massive and grand. I feel you would generally find that movies these days are either carried by one or the other, it would either be visually stunning and lack the story or vis versa but this is one of the best screenplays I’ve seen in more recent times and man the performances of both Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo were top top tier.
