The Ascent

this film was so emotionally traumatic and devastating, this is gotta be one of the most deeply unsettling war movies i have ever seen. the last 20 minutes of this film is dreadful, the close up views and emotion really feels if you are there witnessing the sacrifice of innocent people and a pure soldier. and the guilt of the difficult choice to turn to the other side and watch this horrific tragedy is so painful. this film was beautifully deep and meaningful reflecting the ugly truth, endurance and bravery of the war. this is a masterpiece i feel so disgusted watching this but memorised.
