Is this the coolest movie ever made? Probably.
Has it also spawned one of the most braindead terms ever? Yes. ‘Stuck in the matrix’. Subhuman individual.
I wish I could be as cool as Neo, Trinity and Morpheus.
Been one of my favourite movies since I was a kid. I know almost every line which is probably a bit sad. No one has ever looked better in leather than Laurence Fishburne and Carrie Ann-Moss.
I don’t think a movie like this can ever be made again. An idea that’s original, an unbelievable cast, the right amount of 90s nostalgia with actual amazing slo-mo. Lightning in a bottle. The sequels are okay but the 4th one is a disgrace.
Also Elrond steals the show in any scene he’s in.
