Every year, I re-read the book series and rewatch the movies. I’ve read the books before I’ve ever seen the movies, and that’s how it’s always been. I think every year I enjoy the movies lesson less and the more hyper around the new HBO TV series. I get more excited to see if they could actually do parts of the story justice. Do I think these movies are bad? Short answer is no. I think they just leave out so many points of the book that are so important and why they make these books so intricate and then almost rushed together a movie. Prisoner of Azkaban is by far my favorite book with half blood, Prince in close second, both of which are some of the worst movies. I just think that the more I watch these movies the more and more I dislike them. For people that have not read the books and only grew up on the movies. I can totally understand why you love this series.
