Babylon
Despite the negative initial reception, this movie was pretty decent. However, it is far from perfect. While the performances of Margot Robbie and Diego Calva were standouts (Margot should have been nominated at the Academy instead of Ana fr), the movie's pacing, especially the middle section, was extremely drawn out. The surreal journey underground and subsequent collage in celebration of filmmaking had its merits but, after a 3-hour runtime, felt just a tad self-indulgent.
